Epitomizing the phenomena of the 2012 global shift in consciousness, the first Global Love Festival is ushering in a new way of coming together to celebrate humanitarian love and its unifying power. Launching on July 8th at “That Venue” near the O2 complex in London, this one-of-a-kind event fuses music, creativity, inspiration and performance, and is a positivity movement in itself, inspiring people to live with greater love, peace, joy and unity.

It is also a fundraising ‘Love Aid’ event with ticket profits going to Peace One Day and Global Angels charities to encourage ‘love in action’ through contribution.

With numerous facets from the fun to profound, the Global Love Festival day-time delights include an eclectic medley of acts and entertainment, live music, the random huggers, alchemy sound baths, poetry, followed by an evening extravaganza with comedy, performing arts, the gratitude dance, bands, DJs and much more.

There will also be the Love Lounge, Chocolate Love Temple, Love Potion Tea Bar, Love Faeries, Venus Love Temple, Holistic Love Foods, and heaps of other love and fun-fuelled features.

This festival is a platform and opportunity for people to celebrate love and life, thoroughly enjoy themselves, and open their hearts and minds in inspiring, poignant and playful ways to engage the brighter sides of living.

Just ahead of the London 2012 Olympic Games, the festival will be anchoring in positive visions of Global Love in an on-the-ground community experience that ripples out at individual and collective levels. Over a 1,000 can join in this heart-centered harmonious group environment, coming together in common-unity.

For those unable to attend in person, the festival will also be ‘Love-Streamed’ to a wide-scale global audience across the internet.

A positivity movement in itself, the Global Love Community aims to unite the hearts of millions and make a difference through raising awareness of and encouraging humanitarian love, nurturing community spirit, and providing opportunities for putting love in action through fundraising and contribution.

The Global Love Festival vision began in a night-time dream by visionary and Founder of the Global Love Project, Aine Belton. After a series of real-life synchronicities, Aine decided to make the dream a reality. Seeing love as the key to a golden future, Aine believes:

The unifying power of love dissolves barriers, bridges differences, and heals divides, uniting one and all.
